Soap Dish: Shake-Up At The Young & The Restless

It is Soap Dish time again my friends and this week I dishing all about the behind the scenes shake-up at The Young and The Restless. This is quite the shocker my friends that has many including myself wondering what the heck is going on with the show that has been #1 for years. Executive producer Maria Arena Bell is no longer with Y&R. Nope she has been replaced by former General Hospital executive producer Jill Farren Phelps. The recent shake-up is quite shocking, especially considering that Bell is the daughter-in-law of Y&R creator Bill Bell. The reason for her ousting according to Maria Arena, who spoke her mind on Facebook regarding her being fired, is a mystery. She revealed she has not head a peep from the powers that be at Sony or CBS. In fact if that wasn?t bad enough she was given the news that she was no longer needed on the soap opera via her husband Brad Bell. The whole thing is crappy in my book.
