There’s drama on the home front for Liev Schreiber and longtime fianc�e Naomi Watts.
Although Naomi admits she enjoys the Elf on The Shelf craze, sons Sasha, 5, and Samuel, 4, are turning their dad into a bit of a Scrooge.
The actor, 45, admits his brood doesn’t have any holiday customs this week during Museum of the Moving Image Salutes Hugh Jackman held at NYC’s Cipriani Wall Street.

“Our children are four and five, and we’re both actors, so tradition is not big with either of us,” he tells me.
To celebrate, the family plans to keep it local.
“We’re going to stay home and have dinner," he says. "Maybe see our grandmas and get presents."
Still, even without travel, he faces commotion with the kids.
“They’re kind of at war right now, so there haven’t been any precious moments,” Liev says. “Once Christmas is gone and the presents are out of the way, maybe they’ll return to normalcy again.”

Hm, how does he keep the peace?
“Less presents!”
To unwind, Liev knows his good friend (and fellow father of two) Hugh Jackman is only a phone call away.
“Hugh and I play tennis together, and talk about theater and movies,” he says. “We have a lot in common. The kids, and [his wife] Deb and Naomi are friends, too.”
